The RLA is a non-profit campus, providing a professionally designed and operated facility which combines well-designed, comfortably furnished, and technology-based classrooms and meeting rooms to provide both a venue for learning and a variety of degree and training programs.
The RLA is a LEED-Silver NC Certified Building. LEED is a certification of the US Green Building Council and the authority on “green” design. We are a green, sustainable building that utilizes healthier and more resource-efficient models of design, renovation, operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
We offer patios and outdoor areas with umbrella seating that receives wireless internet access.

At the RLA, we provide an extensive array of A/V technology with every room rental. The easy-to-use system allows presenters to load and start any file in a few easy steps. Also, in the unlikely event you need assistance, there is always an Audiovisual Technician on hand at no charge.

The largest room at the RLA, with a seating capacity of 350, the Great Room is ideally suited for large conferences, keynote addresses, trade shows, and all-staff meetings. Two new ceiling mounted LCD projectors are connected to Smart Technology Podiums, allowing the presenter to switch from PowerPoint, to video, to satellite TV – all with a touch of the monitor or the flick of a remote.
Whether you are planning a meeting for a group of 10 or 350, The RLA has the ideal meeting space for you. Every meticulous detail of our 76,000 square foot campus has been carefully executed. With ergonomically designed furnishings on wheels, each room can be set up to specifically meet the needs of each individual meeting.
At the RLA, education is everything. That is probably why we hold the National Gold Award from American College and Universities Magazine for the most Innovate Educational Environment. At the RLA we not only know food, we know the exceptional service that must come with it. The RLA’s full-day complete meeting package will never leave you asking for more. All of our food is prepared on-site by Executive Chef, Jacob Croston, using the freshest ingredients, many of which are grown locally throughout the Pittsburgh area.
