As a regional nonprofit providing lifelong education, we are tackling an issue that has become one of the most important today, SCHOOL SAFETY.  We are bringing together a unique panel of experts in mental health, violence, transportation, and the U.S. Secret Service, to provide focused knowledge and tools to assist in developing a safer learning environment for schools and to build a stronger local collaborative network of people dedicated to improving the safety of our region’s schools. 

Featuring keynote speakers:  

Dr. Jillian Peterson, Professor and Co-Founder of the Violence Project

Leadership from the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Kelly Kochamba Wesolosky, FBI Pittsburgh Field Office

Ms. Jackie Deloplaine, Western Pennsylvania All Hazards Fusion Center;

Mr. Joseph Larkin, Transportation Security Administration

Dr. William Davies, Allegheny Health Network
